AI access controls
Decide who may use the AI tools in your product designer: everyone, signed-in members, or customers who have ordered. Members-only turns each AI click into a new lead you can follow up.
What it does
One Cmsmart Cloud admin page with a master switch, a toggle per tool and an audience setting. Locked tools show a short explanation instead of disappearing, and a low balance sends one email rather than a flood.
It ships in the Cmsmart Ecommerce plugin for WooCommerce, formerly Cmsmart Product Designer and NBDesigner. The Cmsmart Product Designer 2.15 release note describes what changed and how to switch it on.

How to use it
Set up once in WordPress or your Cmsmart dashboard; after that it works on your store's own orders.
- Update the plugin to 2.15 or later.
- Open Cmsmart Cloud, then the AI Tools tab.
- Choose the audience and switch each tool on or off.
Where it fits in a print order
The AI tools sit on the path every web-to-print order already takes, so nothing changes for your customer except fewer files coming back.
- A customer designs a product or uploads artwork in the Cmsmart designer on your store.
- The AI tools you switched on help inside the designer, for the people you allow.
- AI Print Preflight checks the file against the product's print specification.
- The order reaches your admin with its print files, ready for production.
Limits to know
- The audience setting defaults to leaving AI open exactly as it was before the update.
- Turning AI off removes the buttons and refuses the endpoints, so nothing can spend tokens from the storefront.
