Web-to-print service

Web-to-Print Pricing Engine Development

Cmsmart builds pricing logic for WooCommerce print stores: quantity breaks with linear interpolation between them, prices by size, area, material, colours and print sides, set-up fees and B2B price lists. Customers see the right price while they configure the product, and the same rule is applied in cart, checkout and the order.

About this service

For printers and print resellers whose price lists do not fit standard WooCommerce pricing: prices that depend on quantity, size or material, or customer-specific trade prices.

Scope

  • Audit of your price lists and current store set-up.
  • Written pricing rules and formulas for your approval.
  • Implementation with the Cmsmart plugin's print options where they cover the rule, and custom code where they do not.
  • Linear interpolation between quantity breaks, so every quantity gets a fair price.
  • Area-based pricing (width × height), materials, colours, sides and set-up fees.
  • B2B price lists by customer group.
  • Rounding and minimum-order rules.
  • Tests against sample quotes you provide.

Deliverables

  • Pricing rules document.
  • Working pricing on staging, then live.
  • Test sheet comparing store prices with your sample quotes.

What you provide

  • Your price lists or spreadsheet.
  • Sample quotes to test against.
  • Admin access (or a staging copy).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about this service.

What is linear price interpolation?

If 100 items cost $50 and 200 items cost $80, interpolation prices 150 items at $65 instead of jumping between tiers. Every quantity between two breaks gets a proportional price.
