About this service

For stores that have not been updated for a long time, run an old PHP version, or depend on plugins that are no longer maintained, and need a safe one-time upgrade.

Scope

  • Inventory and compatibility report: versions, abandoned plugins, theme template overrides.
  • Staging copy and full backup.
  • Upgrade path for PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce, theme and plugins, in a safe order.
  • Database updates, including WooCommerce order storage (HPOS) where appropriate.
  • Child-theme template overrides updated to current WooCommerce templates.
  • Abandoned plugins replaced or removed.
  • Regression tests of ordering, accounts, emails and integrations.
  • Go-live with a rollback plan.

  • Third-party licences (themes, plugins, fonts, hosting) are not included unless the proposal lists them.
